i bought this "puzzle" right after Halloween... thinking it would be fun to play with the green leaves and chirping birddies mid winter. I put it away and forgot about it! during the Christmas clean up.. I found it. it was a snowy dark Sunday... and we had a blast putting this together .. each piece needs to first be "popped" out of it's cardboard frame... that was fun. and then the building can begin. it was like the tree just sprouted up right in front of us! (and it is one creation that Mommy is proud to display front and center on the dining room table - this cardboard masterpiece looks like a priceless sculpture!)
I purchased at Anthropologie.. but I think they are all out. google "totem tree by kids on roof" - and you can find items here and there.. this Danish company makes all kinds of amazing creative items - as they put it ... "Kidsonroof wishes to re-connect modern life with nature, rediscovering basic values. Kidsonroof offers an ecological approach to the act of playing. Stimulating creativity and imagination lies at the heart of Kidsonroofs products"
in the midst of our creative building... someone here commented that maybe we could make our OWN fun puzzle out of old magazines and cardboard.. i'll keep you posted. in the mean time, I have my eye on these kidsonroof beauts.
