blessed holidays...

wow...thought I was doing pretty good... but December sure is slipping away! the house is decorated...the tree is up - finally- and I'm working on wrapping, shipping and Christmas cards! ... we are even finding time for family movie night on the couch and igloos in the snow. Here's a peek into our DECEMBER!

semi non-traditional colors of blue, greens and of course black & white!

every year we make gingerbread house - a family tradition from my husbands side. Since we have been at this for many years - we keep trying to "top" ourselves. This year my husband and daughter entered a local contest - they won 2nd place over all and 1st place for "Peoples Choice Award"... they did a great job!

  1. Your house looks gorgeous! How much do I love those globes in the black urns? The kids photos with the dogs are precious, too. Thanks for sharing! Happy Holidays!

  2. Just wanted to drop a line declaring, "You are a HUGE inspiration" to me!! I've been a fan of your work since you were featured in Home Companion (BTW, I can hardly believe how your children have grown since those pics!!) ... still have the issue. You inspired me to create canvas wall hangings ... hold on ... let me finish! LOL! I create family tree designs - NOT children decor designs. It's funny - upon doing research on creating wall hangings, I found -as you know- a NUMBER of very similar designs as your lovelies ... so very disheartening, as a fellow artist. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you for sharing such beautiful pics of your holiday home ... full of festive joy and cheer!

Warm Christmas Wishes to you and yours!
