FRESH new creative space..

OK.. so remember a few weeks back?? I posted about "mission: inspiration organization" well... mission almost complete! A quick background update: The "old" drooz studio (aka..pink cottage) is for sale... and my home is for sale... and we are moving in May 2009 into a new place... well an old place... a house I have always admired...built in 1833.so.. I decided to clean out the studio and move my "creative space" home for the winter...(no need to commute to the studio all winter when I get get creative at home in my PJ's.) a "temporary" new studio to tide me over until we move again! I cleaned out a storage room in the basement... and carved myself a new nook.I do believe this will work! I wanted FRESH and clean. less of the clutter. more of the simple. (I am terrible at the "less is more" approach) Mossy greens, whites, blues, warm grays and pops of the rainbow here and there.
here's a peek.

(oh gosh.. and here is what it USED to look like this was from a few years ago... but this was one of the rooms better phases... at one point last year stuff was piled so high that the windows were blocked and the door would only open half way!)

  11. Wow! I love your new studio space. As an artist of children's creations I have been following you for years. You give me great inspiration! I have now moved on to interior design, of course, started with awesome spaces for kids. When it's in you, it's just in you. Had to keep going and do full-service design. Your color palette is great for creating! My kitchen is the same green, black and cream. You will LOVE it! Thanks for starting a blog, it helps to get to know our inspirations. Keep up the great work! ~ Misti
